RCMP make arrest after vicious assault in McIntyre
Whitehorse RCMP have announced they've made an arrest following the severe assault of a 48-year-old man last week.

Police are remaining tight-lipped about the assault, which happened at around 11:30 p.m. last Friday in the McIntyre subdivision.
The victim, who is from Whitehorse, was found unconscious with "severe injuries,” police have said.
He was medevaced to a Vancouver hospital, where he remains in serious but stable condition.
Police are releasing few details on the adult male they have arrested for the crime.
Neither his age, nor the charges he is facing, have been made public.
He was scheduled to appear in territorial court this afternoon.
His name cannot be released until he has made his first appearance in court.
The name of the victim is not being released.
He is a member of the Liard First Nation.
The RCMP have advised the leadership of the Liard First Nation and Kwanlin Dun First Nation of the arrest and are keeping these communities updated as the investigation progresses.

Strangely enough the CBC has already released his name and age despite your assertions to the contrary.
