The lower path in Puckett’s Gulch, at the west end of Black Street, will be closed from Sept. 23 to Oct. 25th for the construction of stairs.
The city’s contractor, Ketza Construction, will be building an extension to the existing Puckett’s Gulch stairway, also known as the Black Street stairs, the city said Wednesday.
Detours will be in place around the construction site, and the existing stairs will remain open.
“Please obey construction signage,” the city said. “We thank you for your patience and consideration during the construction period.”
