Whitehorse RCMP hope to reunite a possibly stolen item with its owner.

On Sept. 7, while involved in an unrelated investigation, general duty officers found decorative spoons they believe may have been stolen. The pair of spoons were located in a small box and have an inscription.

“These spoons seem like they may have sentimental value,” the lead investigator, Const. Ryan Davies, said Tuesday. “We hope to find their owner and return them.”

Anyone who is missing two small decorative spoons is encouraged to reach out to the police.

Claimants will be asked to describe the inscription and provide any other descriptors that can prove ownership.
