Due to improved conditions, the fire ban for Kluane National Park and Reserve has been lifted.

“Enjoy your campfire responsibly and be careful with all sources of open flame – never leave your campfire unattended, ensure it is completely extinguished before walking away, and discard cigarette butts in appropriate receptacles,” Parks Canda said Wednesday.

“Visitor safety is of the utmost importance to Parks Canada. We thank visitors for their co-operation with these measures, aimed at reducing the risk of forest fires.”

To report a wildfire in the park, call 1-877-852-3100.
