A Whitehorse outfitter has pleaded not guilty to breaking the territory's Wildlife Act.

Peter Koser entered the plea in territorial court Tuesday.

The charge states that between Aug. 27 and 30, 2006, Koser had reasonable grounds to believe one of his guides had been in contravention of the Wildlife Act.

Under the section 49(1) of the act, Koser was required to report the alleged contravention of his employee to a conservation officer within 48 hours.

Court documents don't specify what the employee may have done to break the act's requirements

Koser's trial has been booked for Nov. 7.
