Officer hospitalized after Junction-area shooting

At approximately 6:50 a.m., the officer was investigating a report of a break and enter when he encountered and pursued a suspect vehicle, said RCMP spokesperson Sgt. Don Rogers.
One or more shots were fired in the direction of the officer's vehicle.
As of early this afternoon, Rogers would not confirm whether the officer was shot, only saying he was transported to Whitehorse for medical treatment.
The name of the officer is also not being released pending notification of his family, Rogers said.
Three hours after the shooting, two people were arrested in connection with the incident.
The names of the accused were not available by press time this afternoon.
Investigators are on the scene assembling a more detailed account of the event.

I don't know anything about Jessica Johnson, but Chris Cornell has been circling the drain pipe for many years. Looks like this time he might remove himself from civil society for a long time if he's convicted of attempted murder of a police officer.
Nice job, Chris. Now you've hit the big times, to be enjoyed in the big house with other people just like you. You can feed on each other for a change, instead of being a parasite on contributing members of society.
