Whitehorse RCMP are searching for two men in connection with a firearm being pointed at a motorist last Wednesday evening.

Shortly after 6 p.m., officers responded to a complaint of a firearm being pointed at a motorist on Robert Service Way.

The suspect vehicle, described to police as a dark Volvo with a B.C. licence plate, was located on Robert Service Way, but suspects fled from officers toward Riverdale, police said last Thursday afternoon.

Multiple RCMP units were immediately dispatched to Riverdale and set up a perimeter, with officers checking all traffic leaving the area.

The vacant suspect vehicle was located moments later and seized by police.

Yukon RCMP Police Dog Services searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspects.

Police are asking the public for information on two men they believe to be involved in the incident: Desmond Dayton Fisher and Benjamin Moody.

“They are believed to be involved in the illicit drug trade and organized crime,” police said.

The suspects are described as white males with dark hair. They are in their late teens or early 20s.

If you have information about the incident, or know of the men’s whereabouts, do not approach them, and call 911 immediately, or Whitehorse RCMP at 667-5555.

The investigation is continuing.

I think we should authorize police the use of flame-throwers when dealing with these thugs. They've become just a little too free wheeling as it were.

Not to worry.. everyone without drug money will soon have $2,000 a month, up to $8,000 to pay bills and no one will be shooting at you. Darn..I've become a life coach. I expect to hear from folks that don't recognize sarcasm.

This story should be corrected as the RCMP are searching for suspects that ALLEGEDLY pointed a firearm . . . no charges have been laid, no court case has been heard, no finding of guilt has been issued.

This happens in many places in Canada and around the world.
If people did not buy illegal drugs these people would not be here.

It's time to catch and shame people who buy drugs.

Good thing those check points at borders are working properly.. more gang bangers from BC it seems.. funny cause I've seen plenty of AB and BC plates in past 2 weeks too.
