BB....great job of distributing facts. I absolutely love it when folks use the official records to illustrate said facts. Better even is when those facts are actually posted, due to them being facts...facts to some are racist.
Despite whether you and I share the same views, I tip my hat to you for educating those whom desire it (key word) on the reality.
I must say IMHO the Star would not have posted that a couple of years ago, there is hope after all perhaps?

One would think judges would get it. But..no.. their attitude is sending someone to jail isn't going to help them.
My attitude is, send his sorry *SS to prison and remove him from his ability to harm anyone. Every time a judge releases a criminal back into society he creates more victims. Do I think some criminals should be sent to prison forever? To never see daylight outside a cell for as long as he/she lives? Yes.

A little bit of information on Wonder Boy, all read into the court during one of Gerald Dickson's assault trials:
"Mr. Dickson struck Ms. Hartling with his hands, a chair, and a mirror, causing her to suffer injuries to her face, arms, wrist, and body. He also pulled out some of her hair. In the photographs extensive bruising was visible on her face and on her side. He continued his assault on Ms. Hartling despite her repeatedly asking him to stop.
[4] Read in as aggravating factors in accordance with s. 725 were that at that time Mr. Dickson was bound by a probation order that required him to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and to abstain from consuming alcohol. ... scheduled to be sentenced in April 2014. However, on April 6, 2014, he committed further offences.
[5] Assault (s. 266): On April 6, 2014, Mr. Dickson ...became angry at Ms. Hartling... ran after her and pushed her to the ground, causing her glasses to cut her nose.
[6] Failed to comply with a recognizance (s. 145(3)): At that time, Mr. Dickson was subject to a recognizance that required him to abstain from the possession and consumption of alcohol and have no contact with Ms. Hartling without permission of his bail supervisor. He was intoxicated and did not have the requisite permission.
[7] Failed to comply with a recognizance (s. 145(3)): On May 24, 2014, Mr. Dickson was consuming alcohol, contrary to the conditions of the recognizance that he was bound by.
[8] ...on May 24, 2014, at Burwash Landing, Mr. Dickson assaulted Jonathon Carlick. In particular, I found that Mr. Carlick entered into the residence of Dwayne Johnson to find Austin Dickson, Gerald Dickson's younger brother, striking Owen Miller, who was sitting in a chair, defenceless. ...Mr. Carlick reached to stop the assault on Mr. Miller, ...Gerald Dickson then began to assault Mr. Carlick, striking him with one of the table legs ... Gerald Dickson struck Mr. Carlick over the head with a rifle, breaking the stock. I also found that Gerald Dickson ...struck Mr. Carlick on the head with the broken leg from the coffee table. I found that Gerald Dickson was not acting in self-defence at any time during this event"

Hey Fred..thanks, now I got two eyes full of glass.
Huh? Ya see that post of yours, seemed to detonate my sarcasm meter.
Given how the courts treat our poor misunderstood Cultural elites, I do not know why they keep harassing them with false arrests and cultural oppression either.

Hmmm....imagine this, another Gladue kangaroo outta its cage?
Must be some truth to judgments being a good survival instinct, as ol'Josey had a run in with this fine productive citizen in my travels.
Must be some bizarre anomaly though as we are both human males, but for some reason that eludes me....I seem to comply with societies laws.
In another bizarre anomaly, being pigment challenged section 718.2(e) of CCC suggests I am the only one that the CCC of the two...that must comply with societies laws?
Justice has a ROLE to play, as in...racism of lower expectations.
This time it's Gerald, next time (insert name X).
I suspect DOJ has a bigger ROLE to play in this charade than M.
boing boing boing, enough here to make a zoo...those kangaroos

It is so funny how in the same paper you have a story on a real bad person and there are hardly (just the usual) any comments regarding the person. Then you have this young man (who isn't any prize either mind you) and there are all sorts of comments? I don't get it, is there a double standard here??

Just let him go. When his next appearance is for murder the mmiw inquiry can ignore that inconvenience as well

Only 38 charges pending. Not seen since July 14. Picked up because of a fight in Porter Creek. Obviously no real threat to public safety as there have been no notices from the RCMP about this gentlemen. Surely a misunderstood youth at only 25. Could he not be released on a promise to appear? He is going to get all the consideration of our legal system anyway. In fact why bother harassing this fellow with an arrest at all.
