Whitehorse RCMP say one person was arrested Sunday in relation to firearms offences.

“General duty officers and the Yukon RCMP Emergency Response Team attended a home in the Porter Creek neighbourhood at approximately 5:30 p.m., acting on information received from the public,” police said Tuesday.

“ Based on the nature of the investigation, residents in other nearby homes were asked to either evacuate or remain indoors while police were in the area in order to ensure their safety.”

They did not specify the street on which the incident occurred.

One man was arrested without incident at approximately 10 p.m.

The investigation is ongoing and few details can be released at this time, including his identity, police said.

They said they appreciated the co-operation from others in the neighbourhood during the incident.

What kind of backwoods Alabama stupid [not on average but by stereotype - Mia culpa!] do you have to be in this day and age to assume that the suspect is male? It’s the man’s fault… Is this not the ultimate sin… To infer one’s gender on the basis of their biology, non? [Pardon my French if you know what I mean, non?].

We are after all in the age of a mass formation psychoses in which the idealized self is a self-serving narrative created to interface with the world of our own making. A delusion reflected back out to the world… While Jimi sings in the background - “… let us stop talkin' falsely now… the hour's getting late…”

Stop the hate make gender feel great!! Next time you hear “them” blame a “man” for something take the time to ask yourself first, how do I know? Then consider the likelihood you are a misandronist!

Repent for your part in the process of the vilification of the male as stereotype. We should go back and readjust all the crime stats so they reflect actual rather than assumed genders… Always the male suspect and never the Queer 2S+ suspect. Nice!

Blame, blame, blame, blame… Now, if you are old and white too… You may think I’m being purely satirical but I would say, that’s only the perspective that you have settled on, the one that makes sense to you within the confines of your willingness for acceptance… Best of luck!
