The White Hatter is a company based out of Victoria and specializing in internet safety presentations.
“In recent years, the RCMP have seen a drastic increase in child pornography, extortion and child-luring type offences,” police said Monday.
“Whitehorse RCMP believes that it is beneficial to provide parents with extra information on how to keep children safe online.”
The webinars are free for participants and offered to all parents and caregivers, in the Yukon. Here is the schedule:
• 7-9 p.m. Tuesday: Internet Safety and Digital Literacy for Parents and Caregivers; and
• 7-9 p.m. Thursday: Online Sexual Predation and Exploitation: What is the threat and what can caregivers do to help minimize the risks.

Dear Matthew - I would not be surprised at all. In fact I am absolutely disgusted by the inappropriate sexual behaviours that occur here in the Yukon. I am even more disgusted by the lack of enforcement of these behaviours. I am aware that the governmental authorities who are charged with supervising some of the detected offences of such acts and alleged crimes are not qualified to do so... And where they may have papered qualifications they are morally and ethically unqualified to do so.
Whatever government is elected there needs to be a major housecleaning in Justice starting at the very top and right in through community corrections to eradicate the bad element in the old guard!

Anti June person, I’d say you are more like a Liberal if you start something and then your mind goes blank. That would help explain however what’s been happening in Canada and Yukon lately and ties in well to some of the ‘lights are on but nobody’s home’ looks I’ve seen on Sandy and Justin’s faces.

I fired up my computer but I drew a blank when it came time to put in the address I wanted to go to for the Webinar. I waited but it didn't come through psychic means either. This is just like the Yukon Party an intention with no real way to get there.

Increase in child porn? Well, duhhhh. If the judges put these pedos in jail for long periods of time instead of their normal catch and release, that would put a stop to it. But why should they quit their disgusting entertainment when they know they will get set free - to do it again.

Sad thing is young people take their own nudes and send them.. BUT there is MASSIVE child exploitation going on and you'd be sick to the stomach who's actually involved..
