The Fireweed Community Market will wrap up Thursday.

“We have anywhere from a 20 to 50-per-cent increase in attendance from customers as well as a 20-percent increase in number of vendors,” organizers said Tuesday.

“The average number of vendors last year was around 40 and this year we have been closer to 50-55.

“As COVID restrictions began to lift, we saw increases in vendors and customers.

“Although numbers aren’t quite what they were pre-COVID, it has been an overall good outdoor market season.”

Last week’s market featured some live animals.
