Dr. Catherine Elliott

Elliott leaves chief medical officer role

Dr. Catherine Elliott is no longer the acting chief medical officer of health for the Yukon.

By Whitehorse Star on May 19, 2022

Dr. Catherine Elliott is no longer the acting chief medical officer of health for the Yukon.

Elliott has been in the position since the late summer of 2021, when her predecessor, Dr. Brendan Hanley, stepped down to run for the job of the territory’s Liberal MP.

Elliott was last seen in the role more than five weeks ago.

Details on the situation are scant – and there has been no formal announcement from the government.

Samantha Henney is a communications analyst for the Department of Health and Social Services. She sent the Star an email this morning stating, “No, Dr. Elliott is no longer filling in as acting chief medical officer of health.”

On Wednesday, in response to the Star asking where Elliott was, Henney wrote in an email: “Dr. Elliott has been on a well-deserved vacation until recently.

“The Department of Health and Social Services thanks Dr. Elliott for helping to lead the territory throughout the pandemic and for supporting many other public health matters over several years with HSS.

“Recruitment for a newchief medical officer of health (CMOH) is underway and we will share the news with Yukoners when a successful candidate has been appointed.

“While recruitment for a permanent CMOH continues, Dr. Jesse Kancir, medical officer of health, is supporting the Department of Health and Social Services with matters of public health on a remote locum basis until the end of May.

“Dr. Paul Hasselback will also assist the territory with in-person locum medical officer of health support until the end of June.”

But guys……monkeypox is coming……and she leaves us at a time like this! I don’t know how we can possibly get through it without a really expensive government contractor with large furry earrings, talking to us all like we’re 5 year olds, while masking our children, dividing our society, infringing on our rights, and holding us hostage for our pay checks.

All CMOs, whether ‘acting’ or not, are responsible for their participation in the covid saga. Elliott and Hanley choose to play that part. On the other hand, many doctors the world over choose not to participate, and many exposed the official narrative as harmful nonsense, because from the start they saw a number of factors that didn’t add up. The article below is a must read if you want to see the reality of this.

COVID UPDATE: What is the truth? – by Dr. RusseBlaylock

Excerpt: “The COVID-19 pandemic is one of the most manipulated infectious disease events in history, characterized by official lies in an unending stream lead by government bureaucracies, medical associations, medical boards, the media, and international agencies.[3,6,57] We have witnessed a long list of unprecedented intrusions into medical practice, including attacks on medical experts, destruction of medical careers among doctors refusing to participate in killing their patients and a massive regimentation of health care, led by non-qualified individuals with enormous wealth, power and influence.”

Imagine if your mother was working behind a counter in town and some trash-talkers weren't happy with the company she works for but verbally abused her regardless??

Think about it!
The catholic and anglican faiths have fed us nonsense for centuries and told us there was a benevolent god that breeds hate if you don't agree? They have bullied an unReal belief system on us that is the nuttiest ever! But you harassers think some of your freedom has been stolen with the vaccine mandate yet you agree with the church system of lies! Get real!!

I know a Kyle who attends all the so-called 'freedom rallies', and who spent much of January in a warm country, where vaccines are mandatory for residents, and masks mandated in all indoor areas. Is this you? If so, it's kind of hypocritical of you to criticize the Yukon's rules.

Archie, I agree with you (at least the first paragraph) on May 22, 2022 at 6:43 am

Archie, you wrote "Can you imagine the cognitive dissonance? They can't allow themselves to accept it, doing so would be admitting that the 'crazies' were right after all. They are lost, totally blind to the reality they are living in. Their 'reality' is ostensibly a carefully curated hugbox free from any and all form of 'microaggression' that could be remotely construed as critique. Weakness extolled as virtue, projected for internet clicks." You are absolutely correct! But not for the reasons you think. But whatever - the very large majority of Yukoners are getting on with their lives, learning to deal with covid as endemic, and accepting that a small minority of deniers/anti-vaxxers/so-called 'freedom lovers' etc with always be with us (kinda like covid).

some people will believe ANYTHING on May 22, 2022 at 6:32 am

Archie and Salt - yes, the CEO did talk about FDA approval for a sensor to track whether medication had been taken, 2 full years before anyone ever heard of covid. "In 2018, Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla mentioned a pill that had been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration a few months prior that contained a digital sensor that could track whether or not the medicine had been taken. This product was approved for the treatment of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Contrary to online rumors, this comment was completely unrelated to vaccines or the COVID-19 pandemic." It has improved the lives of people with these terrible conditions, as one of their challenges is taking the medicine at times/dosages prescribed. You should stick to music videos and comedy skits on youtube. And if you're worried about being "tracked"? Stay off of the internet - your VPN is identifying you

Kyle, the January restrictions were implemented at a time when no one knew anything about Omicron, except that it was even more transmissible than previous strains. And it still ripped through the territory, after Christmas break. As for the kids with the masks, the ones I know (and there are many) are fine, except for those whose parents constantly chirp about it.

@Yikes

-"All the angry old white men coming out on the comments section. So predictable. Lol."
Cathy, dear. What did we say about drinking and commenting on the newspaper articles. Remember to just ignore it. You're better than this!

-"I applaud anyone in a public position who comes out and does the job to the best of their ability. Not perfect, but what is perfect!?"
Jesus Christ comes to mind. People in positions of authority would be well advised to follow his teachings, as opposed to the teachings of their technocratic overlords. I don't applaud governments that enable the Peter Principle to manifest itself in ways that have a negative impact on my personal life, the life of my family, and the life of my future offspring. I especially don't like people who get too big for their britches and then immediately start abusing their power.

-"Remember: it’s not like any CMOH started out thinking “I’d love to become the public face of this and face all these armchair experts day and web MD nut jobs day in and day out”.
The pandemic was well underway by the time she accepted the role. She knew what she signed up for. Do you mean to suggest public figures should be free from scrutiny based solely on credentials? If that were the case we'd have a bit of a messed up democracy. It doesn't take a genius to understand the concept of the Hippocratic Oath for example, which has been clearly violated in cases of vaccine injury, regardless of any veiled illusion of personal consent based on a piece of paper that was signed under threat of expulsion from society.

"And she was filling in. She was never promoted to full-time CMOH for Yukon."
Yeah, we know. She needed to chill and not panic. It would have been okay to swallow her pride and open herself to the public. She did, in a way, but by that point it was to late, and actions speak louder than words. She told us we need to move on with our lives, yet still the mandates live on. Still I'm afraid to even apply for a job, just in case there's a surprise vaccine clause in there. They should've banned employers from continuing the mandates. They tried to pass off the karma and say 'LOL, sorry employers! Your problem now! It's utterly weak behavior and a complete disgrace.

"Some of these comments are just disgusting and downright embarrassing."
I find them remarkably reserved, considering some of the things our Prime Minister has said about millions of his own citizens during his vitriolic, narcissistic raging against the 'unclean'.

@Groucho d'North

No one who is directly responsible gets a free pass. Have we forgotten the Nuremburg trials? Have we forgotten accountability and personal responsibility in the face of obvious evil? When you think of the people in power do the words love, forgiveness, and kindness come to mind? The word that comes to my mind is megalomania. Following orders is never a valid excuse if seeing those orders through runs contrary to one's conscience. It's one of the deepest running flaws in our present society. Weak, amoral, unaccountable pawns propping up a corrupted system, lording their misplaced authority over the conscientious observers, throwing everyone else under the bus. Pandemic of the unvaccinated? Based on what science?

"LOL, I'm not telling. Trust us, peon. You wouldn't understand the data if I gave it to you anyway. Move along child, and jab this piece of steel into your body or I'm ruining you financially"
-every liberal that ever existed

My personally? I could never do this. I would have to say something. The money's not worth it. I can even prove this since I'm still unemployed from the mandates. I know I'll look back on my life with zero regrets, at least I died free.

Physician, heal thyself… For the love of ducks, please! on May 20, 2022 at 5:28 pm

Sorry Groucho d'North on May 20, 2022 at 2:00 pm:

She is just as culpable as they are. She knew what she was walking into. I find it entirely unacceptable to go along knowing the harm you are causing in the name of the government. Her arrogance is not uncommon for doctors or physicians, however they identify. Her approach however suggests that she is a physician by virtue of her apparent intellect and demeanour. For example, physicians may be less capable of seeing the bigger picture.

Anyway, I would say the same thing about most public servants following their marching orders notwithstanding the harms being imposed against the people they are supposed to serve.

This is why they invest so heavily in image making. Their defence is already made for them. The supporting structures are there to defend them; the YEU, the Labour Boards, the Courts and on and on. YG must have an entire warehouse of non-disclosure agreements that they have forced people to sign to preserve its image - YG is a corporate Leviathan with a voracious appetite for the taste of their own.

How anybody cannot see that is beyond me. However, the likelihood of anyone on the inside bringing problems to light is minuscule under the oppressive weight of the system, the YG Cartel.

It’s a pretty sad state of affairs when we allow them to hire outside counsel to spin a narrative against the people.

Not only do I blame Elliot and the government but I blame the royal “we” for giving legitimacy to this shyt! Seriously, we should hang our heads in shame…

I don't know about anyone else but I took exception to her smugness and arrogance. "I am the A/CMO, and therefore I know best." She was like being stuck in a traffic jam, stop, move, stop, move, don't move... . The one thing she will be remember for - "...besides I strongly endorse the use of masks everywhere, anywhere wherever you, are all the time." Or the stupidity of only one neighbouring family may you visit or have as visitors. Makes me wonder if the other neighbours were infidels or something. It kind of reminds me of GG Adrienne Clarkson who coined her phrase - "I am Adrienne Clarkson, and you're not." Just substitute the names, and voila you have it.

While you may have those that hung on your every word, there as many (if not more) who did not. Nobody likes be talked down to as if they are a 3 year old.

One thing that I do begrudge is that in the year Dr Elliott contracted herself to YG, she earned $750,000. Both Brendan Hanley and Catherine Elliott provided ‘doctored’ covid statistics. They listed as ‘covid’ deaths some who clearly died from other pre-existing conditions. They refused to specify the age of these deceased and their covid vaccination status. They never responded to questions about the unreliability of the PCR test for covid or the risks of the covid vaccines. They recommended oppressive and pointless mandates. Their lack of transparency has resulted in the loss of public trust in the medical system and government mandates.

The Libs were able to impose these mandates on us only through a coalition of NDP that we never voted for. How the heck do we get our democracy back.

In your fear and uncertainty it will be tempting to put your trust in some person or group who emerges and claims to have a "way out", which will involve sacrificing some of your liberty. You must resist this urge. These self‑proclaimed saviors may appear in many forms, under any number of banners: "intellectuals", "influential people", "progressive thinkers", "billionaires", "the UN", "the EU", "self‑selected multinational coalition", "global leaders", "world governments", "radicals", "revolutionaries" or some combination of these. They may appear charismatic. They may appear to have your best interests at heart. They may stand united, arm‑in‑arm, proclaiming "We know the way forward", advancing some form of "people's revolution" or "Global Reset" where "you will be in charge", hawking various "‑isms" and promises of a better tomorrow. These people are not your friends. They are not to be trusted. They are the same global banking elites using the same fear tactics, selling the same magic potions and snake oils as always. They want only one thing: power.

I am glad she is leaving. We need a CMOH who recognizes the permanence/semi-permanence of COVID and assesses risk in the same manner as the other forms of risk we tolerate as the cost of living life. Our reaction to Omicron in January (cancelling youth activities, banning household gatherings) and our continued masking of schoolchildren to this day are an overreaction to the present risk of the virus.

Can we maybe chill out on the whole forced injection thing moving into the future? Some of us are fanatically opposed to having our genetic sequences altered, because errors in those judgments can affect future generations. There needs to be an allowance made for conscientious objectors. People who easily recognize the obvious hegelian dialectic level control mechanisms pushed to alarming extremes, repeated over and over and over, dividing everyone, turning us against one another so we soak up all the bad karma.

Yep, getting a little bit tired of having to suffer the whims of the Demiurge and his faithful prison guards of the fear and pain universe simulator. Reminder to would be tyrants who would sell their souls for a buck from their World Economic Forum handlers like Dr. Hanley: Love is the absence of fear, try it some time Dr. Elliot. Try projecting love and acceptance instead of fear and division into people's hearts because that's what the good guys are doing right now, or at least trying to do, despite your best efforts against us. I mean, good Lord, you really riled up the crazy hypochondriac Karens on a way over the top power trip.

By the way in case anyone reads this, whenever someone in power starts talking about making 'sacrifices' for the 'greater good', be extremely cautious, they're probably just another tool of the Archons having a bit of a chuckle at the expense of the blind non player characters who inhabit the simulation. Good is good, bad is bad. Remember this moving forward, it could save your life.

If you cannot see that you are not welcome in our democracy. It’s scary that we have lost the ability to hold them accountable - Thank the NDP for their part in this morbid fiasco of a government.

There was a time in Greece wherein the politician who was deemed to have done the most damage to democracy was exiled for a period of 10 years.
