The numbers went from eight active and one new to 16 active and eight new on Monday, and 13 active and one new on Tuesday.
All but one of the official active cases were in Whitehorse. The one community case was in Carmacks
The seven-day test positivity rate rose from 16 per cent last Friday to 30.9 per cent on Monday, and then 37.5 per cent on Tuesday.
The status of Whitehorse General Hospital (WGH) was updated Monday and was at the red code, which meant limited space and or full.
All the other hospitals and the WGH ICU were green, which meant space and services were available.
The hospital report was not updated on Tuesday.
There is no change in the hospitalization number, which has stood at 170 for some time now.
As of Tuesday afternoon, the total number of confirmed Yukon cases was 4,947.
Only a few people went in to get a COVID vaccination last week.
Six received their very first shot, eight went for a second one and 13 obtained the third one.
According to the government’s posted numbers, 52 per cent of the Yukon’s eligible population is not up to date on all of its vaccines.

A lot of folks are doing home kits and they never get into the official count. There are a lot mot more cases of COVID in the Yukon that are not reported in the official data.

Perhaps you don’t understand percentages. And what a majority means.
Seeing as how you struggle to prove your repeated assertions about either the CDC and/or the FDA approving Ivermectin for covid - that never happened despite you repeatedly claiming it did.
You’ve yet to explain why you repeatedly lied and tried, but failed, to spread this misinformation. Probably because you can’t explain this pathetic behavior.

You are making an assumption that vaccinations are the reason deaths are low. This assumption could not be questions if we did not have control groups that saw through the lies. This is why they wanted 100% uptake. There are counties that barely vaccinated and they basically weren't effected by covid, and it is now a thing of the past. Covid deaths numbers equal flu deaths numbers. Flu disappeared during covid, and covid took it's place. Looking just at the numbers one could one might come to the conclusion they are one and the same.

I (and my family) got infected with Covid-19 about a month ago. Symptoms were mild, for the most part. I've had colds which were much, much worse. Still, I'll probably keep up to date on my vaccinations going forward. Just because my symptoms are mild doesn't mean the next person's will be...

Don't forget those statistics include those with comorbidities.
Healthy 30-somethings have a 0.0005% fatality rate, for example. And that's for the more dangerous Alpha and Delta strains.

And this vaccine uptake is across all political spectrums. Stephen Harper, Pierre Polievre, Donald Trump, Jason Kenny, Currie Dixon - all have had at least two doses. It’s so great to see. So thank you for helping promote the success of these vaccines.

It was supposed to be 9 months ago - but I guess it's been postponed? Last you predicted was 5-10 years from now. That's a long time for these 5G Soros/Gates nanoparticles to lay dormant! What technology!
Just be patient though - and stock up on food and firewood because when it happens the power is going out and no more truck deliveries are coming up the highway from southern Canada. The majority of Canadian truckers are vaccinated - just ask their union who supported it:

Context is important in telling the COVID story. Did this person die because of COVID OR were they infected by COVID when they died?

These reports of so-called 'covid' deaths are irrelevant because they fail to specify that the deceased had received the covid jabs, was elderly, and had serious conditions other than covid.
Same for the 'hospitalizations'. Why aren't they specific on the causes? Because most likely many of these hospitalizations are the result of serious adverse reactions to the covid jab.
Why the code 'red'? Because for the past several years health care funding has been neglected while funds were diverted to useless covid testing and unsafe and ineffective covid jabs. We needed more nurses, but they fired those unwilling to get jabbed.

When this virus got out of China, no one knew what it was. The WHO declared a pandemic and most governments, (not Canada, who sent 16 tonnes, emptying our supply warehouses, to China.) The information was sparce and it was rife with fear mongering and suggested threats of what we could expect. Dr. Handly predicted 7,000 Yukoners would die. They did not have to tell any of us twice to stay home. Time moved on. The Canadian Medical people didn't. It wasn't a pandemic. It was a flu. But, the Government realized quickly how easy it was to control the populace, and started severely punishing anyone who dared to think for themselves. People got jail time, fines, were paid to rat out their friends and neighbors. (a family having a picnic in the public park, fined $7,000. ) Trudeau closed down airports, EXCEPT for Calgary, Montreal, Vancouver and Toronto, bringing in up to 200 planes a day. We saw hypocrisy upon lie, upon fiction. Where was the truth? Well, it isn't in this article that says nothing. So, someone died, I'm sorry.. I hope this person rests in peace, and condolences to the family. Please print how many passed of heart failure? OD? AIDS? Stroke? Why isn't it worth mentioning them? The Governments had best update their story for the press releases.
Covid did one thing for us.. no one, and i haven't met one person now, trusts anything the government says about anything. They will go home and investigate an issue for themselves rather than swallow the government koolaid.
The government IS the box. People have started to think outside it.. This can only be beneficial to us in the long run.

I've had 3 jabs now and that's the last one. Unless they create a vaccine that is a 100% preventative. It appears that the majority of those getting covid have had several jabs. So, don't blame the unvaccinated for passing the virus on. Its the vaccinated that are passing it - and giving it to the unvaccid.

The fringe majority? Remember when unvaccinated people were compared to drunk drivers. A danger to society that should not be tolerated. Yeah, that was weird.

If someone has AIDS or terminal cancer and then gets a flu and dies, is flu written on the death certificate? I wouldn't think so. Perhaps a lot of these covid deaths should not be called covid deaths. Who knows though, comorbidities are not shared with the public.

Unconfirmed cases are probably around 60,000. I do not know a single person in the Yukon that has not had covid. Many vaccinated people I know have had it 3 times.
According to the Yukon Monthly Statistical Review, the 30 percent increase in all cause mortality is still holding strong. Maybe time to focus on this. Normally I would reference other provinces covid statistics but they seem to have all been scrubbed from the internet.
The Yukon dashboard could use an update. 89 percent of 5+ people are vaccinated but cases are counted for all ages. All age vaccination is 85 percent. 15 percent of people are unvaccinated and they currently make up 18 percent of cases. Why are no dose cases towering above the rest on the Yukon Covid Dashboard charts? This is misleading. Maybe time to stop exaggerating the data simply obfuscate it like other provinces have done.

So done with the government trying to push this Covid narrative. It's plain to see they overreacted and reacted inappropriately. It would be nice to see the media use some critical thinking and question and push the government for more clarity on who specifically is dying from Covid. Is it "from" covid or "with" covid? Why doesn't the government promote diet to improve outcomes for those who are obese or have diabetes? There's no money in getting people healthy without pharmaceuticals.

Seriously, if you die in the Yukon of any cause whatsoever, you can be pretty certain your demise will be used this way as well. Good with that?
