As of Monday afternoon, there were 69 active cases, as the outbreak continues to wane, the government reported.
In its brief statement, the numbers were not broken down as to the communities the cases occurred in, and there was no indication if the current territorial state of emergency will be extended from its possible Dec. 3 expiration.

Geoff - check your sources. Give your head a shake. Think about it. The vast, vast majority of professional basketball, baseball, hockey, football, Olympic sports athletes are fully vaccinated. These multi million dollar athletes in billion dollar sports.
Please name a single pro level athlete that has had what you are describing.
I know a handful of non pro athletes that are damaged for life from…wait for it….covid infections. Not vaccines.

Lots of videos everywhere under the heading "video compilation of athletes dying" ...it seems all these athletes are vaxxed and having heart problems .
Further to that Circulation Research has come out with an article on November 8 talking about myocarditis and saying the vaccines are extremely dangerous . This is a peer reviewed journal.

Fortunately though we know that those futuristic Myth Busters - James T Kirk and commander Spock, showed us that Omicron is survivable if you avail yourself to the Earth’s natural protections…

So you always do an article on Monday stating the COVID numbers that include Friday thru Monday. Big numbers fit the narrative better I guess. We are actually 6 to 7 per day now and dropping. So come on Whitehorse Star don't just report the narrative.

Omicron is serious. I've been skeptical about the vaccines. That's why I hadn't taken them. But when I heard about Omicron that thing shook me to the core. I finally did the right thing. I picked up the damn phone and manned up and made an appointment for me, my wife, and her 6 beautiful children. Maybe the risk wasn't worth it for Delta. But for Omicron? You'd have to be a fool to wade in its waters unprotected. Am I worried about side effects for me and my family? You betcha. Just get vaccinated and hold your breath and hope for the best. That's what I'm doing and I can't wait to feel that needle in my skin and know I'm at least a little safer.

@Matthew, Ireland apparently has a 95 percent vaccination rate and they are talking about lockdowns (maybe they started already). "Just two weeks". How is it that media just won't ask them to address this contradiction. Officials keep saying "how much more we know", it's insultingly patronizing as they ramp up recommendations for restrictions and mandates, and blame rising Covid rates on 5 percent who don't want the vaccine.
I can't blame politicians, they're just reacting to the fear of citizens. Yesterday on the CBC 6:00 news yet another medical "expert" said yet again governments are "failing" globally because they're taking a "market-based" approach to vaccinations when some countries have no vaccines. The nerve of him, when all day long his colleagues were saying "get the booster, get the booster". Less than an hour before he weighed in with his scolding I was hearing that on the news.
Why don't they look at each other, listen to each other, challenge each other. They're deliberately and methodically scaring citizens so that they'll pressure politicians and then we get the odd pious outlier who wants to blame us and our governments for being greedy. The reaction to Omicron is a travesty of "the science".

Hmm.. good to see that 86% vaccination rate (highest in Canada) goes hand in hand with the highest covid rate in Canada.. tells you 1 of 2 things, vaccines don't work, or the vaxxed are the spreaders.. CLEARLY safe 6 and masks don't work.. get that through your heads folks.. let's go back to normal and not let the fear of dying with covid dictate our lives! After all, covid only kills 1% of its hosts..
