COVID-19 claims another life; booster available for older children

Its COVID-19 dashboard did not have any further details Monday.
When it reports deaths from the virus, the government does not specify the community, age nor gender involved.
Meanwhile, the government is expanding boosters to children ages five and older following the Health Canada approval of the Pfizer- BioNTech Comirnaty children’s booster dose and recommendations from Dr. Sudit Ranade, the territory’s new chief medical officer of health.
To be eligible for a booster dose, six months must have passed since the completion of a primary series.
In addition, for children who have recently had COVID-19, a booster is not recommended until at least three months have passed since symptoms started or testing positive.
Whitehorse parents, guardians and caregivers can book appointments on Yukon.ca/appointments, and people living in rural Yukon can phone their local health centre to book a time at the community clinics.

“Vaccination remains our best protection against COVID-19 and helps keep our families, friends and communities safe,” Health and Social Services Minister Tracy-Anne McPhee said Tuesday.
“I’m excited to share that boosters are now available to children ages five and over, and I encourage parents to book an appointment for their child to help stop the spread of the virus as they return to school and regular activities.”
In Whitehorse, appointments can also be made by calling 1-877-374-0425.
For residents in most rural communities, boosters will be available at their next community clinic.
“The risk of severe disease in children is very low, and the booster provides added protection for some of our youngest Yukoners,” Ranade said.
“Staying up to date on all COVID-19 vaccinations ensures the strongest protection against the virus. I encourage all Yukoners to get their booster when they become eligible.”
Five new Yukon COVID cases were reported Monday.
The dashboard stated there are 10 active cases, five of which are in Whitehorse and two in Dawson City.
The Whitehorse number is the lowest since June 27, and Dawson has returned to the board after being off briefly last week.
The seven-day case positivity rate was given as 33.1 per cent compared with 32.2 per cent last Friday. The national rate posted that day was 9.9 per cent.

The fact that the Yukon Party wanted to form an "illegal coalition" is too much for the fringe to cope with. It wrecks their worldview. It upsets their balance.

Dixon and Polievre are both vaccinated. The Conservative premiers of 6 provinces had stricter lockdowns and mandates than the liberal lead ones did. These are facts - because they happened - and it’s easy to look up these facts. And these facts don’t care if they hurt your snowflake feelings.
Yet the conservative leaders who were not in power during the pandemic (like Currie and Pierre) like to cosplay as “freedom fighters” because they know it will buy them votes from anti-vaxxers who will ignore the fact they are voting for vaxxed politicians.

I’m saying to stop the fear mongering with headlines of covid claiming another life when the fact is the person was very late in life. If this was a couple years ago and someone young and in good health, the headline would be more appropriate.

The only political party in Yukon that will outlaw vaccine mandates and open an inquiry into the harm of the vaccines is the Yukon Party. We need Currie Dixon as Premier. He was the only politician willing to bring the convoy's petition into the legislature last year. We need him and Pierre Poilievre!

This is kinda funny as there have been "deaths" over the summer from "Covid or the Jab reactions" but none of those have been published like this one. Must be Fall time, Schools in and the "annual FLU" season upon us once again. Guess what, before rushing out for the "flu" shot make sure you get the technical data of what's in it this year, as the "covid" booster will be in it, on top of a whole separate "Covid" shot.
They are merging it into the regular "flu" shots, so be careful out there folks.

I read the information in the link you provided (updated April 2022) and the last line is "The Panel recommends against the use of ivermectin for the treatment of COVID-19, except in clinical trials". As for Remdesivir (updated August 2022), it is recommended for use for low-risk, non-immunocompromised patients, under very specific conditions. So I'm not sure what point you were trying to make?

Care to explain why you and Gus are stating it’s been approved?
And why do you think it’s been approved quietly yet no media like Rebel News, Fox News, Breitbart - all these right wing rags that would LOVE to scream about Ivermectin being approved for use - it would be red meat for all their fringe fans - why, if it’s been approved like you guys are saying it has, why aren’t they reporting in it? I bet you can twist reality to come up with some rationalization for that. Even these far right news sources must be paid off by big pharma! Even Pierre Polievre is vaxxed too!

Denmark just ban covid shots for most people under 50. UK banned shots for people under 12, and state that under no circumstances should pregnant or breast feeding women take the shot.
While here in Canada shots are pushed on babies and NACI wants people to consider taking a shot every 90 days.

Remember that to get emergency approval for an experimental vaccine there could not be any existing treatment, hence the censorship and witch hunt for doctors prescribing any covid treatments. The smear campaign of all treatments was necessary to push the vaccines, which as we can see has not let up. Since day one of the pandemic all mainstream news repeated incessantly that the only way through the pandemic was a vaccine. They sure figured that out quickly. The same logic justified emergency approval of Remdesivir. How did that work out for everyone that took it? There are studies with hundreds of thousands of people that prove the effectiveness of Ivermectin. Compare this to the new covid shot that was apparently tested on 8 mice.

Parents, don't allow your children to be vaxed. They are too young to be responsible for what might happen to them. Let them develop their own immunity to the virus. If something happens to them as a result of the vaccine, who suffers? And who are you going to sue for damages? It's the child that will suffer the results. Don't trust the government, don't trust the science and don't trust the chief medical officer of health. Trust your own Instincts. Your children will thank you for it later.

Something to think about ! Denmark has become one of the first European Union countries to scrap most pandemic restrictions as the country ( 5.8 million ) no longer considers the Covid 19 outbreak "a socially critical disease." The Danish people also trust their government !
