It has OKed the incentive for a five-storey, 73-unit apartment building at 468 Range Rd., opposite The Barracks.

City hall encourages developments of rental, affordable and supportive housing by providing grants to a maximum of $500,000 paid over 10 years in annual payments of $50,000 after all property taxes have been paid.
The Range Road project by KBC Developments is comprised of supportive and rental units for seniors. It includes common areas like shared dining and exercise areas.
The two-storey four-plex being developed by Kevin Harms will provide four two-bedroom apartments over three floors, including the basement.
