Whitehorse RCMP are investigating an armed robbery at the Airport Chalet last night.

At approximately 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, police were called to the Hillcrest-area hotel after the front desk clerk was robbed at knife-point.

No one was injured, RCMP spokesman Sgt. Mark Groves said this morning.

The thief is described as a first nations man of medium height and weight, between the ages of 18 and 30.

He was wearing a white winter jacket with a camouflague pattern and blue sweat pants.

Police are not disclosing how much was stolen from the hotel or how the culprit left the scene.
