Chinese community welcomes the Year of the Rabbit

The Year of the Rabbit was rung in at the Chinese Canadian Association of Yukon’s 10th annual celebration at the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre.

The Year of the Rabbit was rung in at the Chinese Canadian Association of Yukon’s 10th annual celebration at the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre.

A variety of entertainment began the festivities, with remarks from the association and local politicians.

The Lion Dance started the entertainment portion off continuing with a Children’s Dance, Tai Chi Yukon, Northern Lights School of Dance, a number of performers from Outside, including music and a martial arts demonstration.

Finally, a traditional dinner finished off the night.
