As the midway point of the federal election campaign kicked off this week, candidates are preparing for four more debates, door-knocking and voter engagement.
All five candidates will attend three debates this week. The first debate on francophone issues will be hosted by the Association Franco-yukonnaise from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.

From 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, a debate on fish, wildlife and outdoor issues will take place at the Beringia centre.
The candidates’ other plans for the week are listed here in random order.
People’s Party of Canada candidate Joseph Zelezny will spend the rest of the week door-knocking. He will attend a forum for Thomson Centre residents on Thursday. He noted his campaign plans this week are limited because he continues to work full-time.

On Wednesday, Morris will speak at a Council of Yukon First Nations (CYFN) assembly.
On Thursday, she will attend a question and answer session with Grades 7, 8 and 9 students.
Morris will spend the remainder of the week canvassing in Whitehorse and Carcross, with tentative plans to visit Ross River aand Faro on Sunday.
NDP candidate Justin Lemphers will be available to speak with Yukoners at local coffee shops this week. He was at Baked Café Monday afternoon.
Lemphers spent this morning at Midnight Sun Coffee Roasters, and will be at the Chocolate Claim on Friday morning.
Lemphers will attend the Sisters in Spirit walk and vigil at 11:45 Friday and participate in a Q&A with students at École Émilie-Tremblay in the afternoon.
At 5 p.m. Saturday, Lemphers will participate in BYTE’s The Future We Want event at the Yukon Transportation Museum
Lemphers will host a meet-and-greet in Haines Junction from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
Lemphers will spend the remainder of the week canvassing in Whitehorse, Mt. Lorne and Haines Junction.
Conservative candidate Jonas Smith spent Monday in Carmacks, Pelly Crossing and Dawson City. He will participate in the CYFN assembly on Tuesday.
On Thursday, Smith will attend the candidates’ forum at the Thomson Centre, and be at Friday’s École Émilie-Tremblay event.

For a party that claims to be for "working Canadians", Lemphers is spending an awful lot of time at coffee shops frequented by YG employees, hipsters and other non working class types. Maybe go spend some time at TimmyHo's to get a better perspective.

Every time I listen to that Joe Zelesny he makes more sense. I think he's gaining some traction here with his strait-forward answers and suggestions.
