The latest building statistics show a decrease for the Yukon, but that’s likely a reflection of both the pandemic and end of some high-value projects such as the Kwanlin Dün First Nation administration centre.
The latest report from the Yukon Bureau of Statistics shows the “estimated investment (seasonally adjusted) in building construction in the Yukon for December 2020 was $24.6 million.
That’s a decrease of $3.4 million, or 12.2 per cent, compared to the figure for December 2019.
Compared to the figure for November 2020, the December 2020 investment in building construction in Yukon fell by $3.1 million, or 11.2 per cent.
On a year-to-date basis (January through December of 2020), the total value of investment in building construction in Yukon was $349.5 million.
This represents an increase of $53.8 million, or 18.2 per cent, compared to the same time period in 2019 ($295.8 million); residential investment was up $65.6 million and non-residential investment was down $11.8 million.

Not heaps of building permits were issued between 1933 and 1945.
Afterwards, as a DIRECT result of "The Aluminum Overcast" and the hailstorm of freedom...there was heaps and heaps of buildings being built.
Today even they still find nuggets of freedom never yet lit off, gotta love mass production and brave, brave men...helped via manufacturing of many brave women.

Me so pretty and witty and wise...
The problem is that people tend to argue a position rather than discuss the facts. Perhaps that can be translated as, perception rather reality. People and things and events are never one thing. Everything is subject to context. It is the absolute perspective that blinds all of us and often confounds our ability to communicate with any precision.
Hitler, Nazism, Right Wing, Left Wing, Liberalism, Conservatism, NDPism, etc., do not exist in the way that we perceive them to. This has more to do with basic neuropsychology than ideology. For example, we tend to think heuristically because of our limited ability to take in and process all of the world around us.
Cognitively we are all general gisters because the world around us is amazingly complex. Consequently we filter information that we are able to perceive (not all) through conscious and unconscious processes which is subject to an ongoing editing process of additions and deletions. Remembering and perceiving are motivated processes. Ultimately, at the end of the day what we believe we know is a fiction.
Hitler was a Socialist, Communist, Democrat, Right Wing, Left Wing, Fascist... and whatever else she/he/they had to be in the moment. Just like everyone else Hitler was a matter of context. The same goes for Trudeau. If people cannot see this easily discoverable fact, the chameleon effect, then we truly are effed up as a society. Because this is true you really have to question things like democracy, freedom, and other such lofty ideals.
But it explains the need for the perpetual lie. Because although you/we want the truth - You Can’t Handle the Truth! So we pretend, and we engage in the necessary illusions to keep safe our pieces of mind through shared delusions... And when those others do not share our delusions and have their own we want to discredit them to prevent us from examining our own.
These are fundamentals in cognitive neuroscience. What kind of scientist are you?
