There are video cameras all over this place in that area, wonder if the fuzz would bother sourcing out that data.

Sadly , yes its true . Why would Whitehorse's finest actually leave Starbucks and Hortons while their coffee is still hot ? Why track down serious offenders when there are seat-belt violations to address? Time for 'old Josey' to put on his outlaw's spurs again and rant and rave his way along 4th Avenue . Far more of a deterrent to any would-be criminals.

Josie: I get a huge kick out of your posts.. in your own way, you nail it.
Mr. Brewer: People have already stopped calling RCMP. You get better info from Rants and Raves than M Division.

A search for a dude (allegedly) in a dark hoodie at that time yielded no results?
Is this the sanitized version of a crime report via the media or M?
Looks like the UN around here these days, we might have to report on ethnicities to actually find suspects.
I read this and thought right away of a dude I see peddling all over downtown. Word on the street is he is prone to violence?
He sleeps from time to time at Robert Service ball diamonds.
Maybe go for a patrol sometime looking outside of your cruiser and go chat him up.
Sorry I will not waste another minute of my time calling M with concerns of scumbags being scumbags, been there done that, know the enabling reality that feeds crime in this sty.
Been a long time since I have known we are on our own out here, I do my own security, neutrilze the threat by whatever means reasonable....then I may call.
Or go to Starbucks, save ya a trip back to the mothership.

I've said it before in other articles... BAIT cars, bikes, and now apparently purses...
It's long past time when the RCMP need to be exploring proactive solutions to the wretched wretches plaguing this city. The criminal element needs to be taught that not every car, bike, or purse is an easy mark.
Otherwise, don't be surprised when the citizens stop calling the police and start extracting their own justice.
