Crime Stoppers Yukon and the Whitehorse RCMP are requesting the public's assistance in locating David Wiebe, who is wanted on an arrest warrant for failing to appear in court.

Wiebe was recently convicted of aggravated assault and failed to appear for his sentencing.

Wiebe is a 38-year-old Caucasian male with brown eyes, brown hair and medium complexion. He is 1.82 metres (six feet) tall and weighs approximately 83 kilograms (185 lbs.).

Wiebe has a tattoo on his right upper arm that reads 'Fó- the World.'

Wiebe is known to be potentially aggressive. While police do not believe he poses a threat to the general public, they are cautioning people not to approach or interfere with him but to contact police immediately.
