- FIVE SAVED FROM FREEZING Lucky chance that brought Dawson City's William Braga along the 50-below-zero Whitehorse-Dawson Highway may have saved five persons from freezing to death. Four women and a man were driving from Whitehorse when their car stalled and they began hiking toward Midway Lodge.
