IT’S PUPPY TOWN AT THE SHELTER – The Mae Bachur Animal Shelter is overloaded with puppies. Some are ready now, while others will be ready in about a month. The litters are ‘Yukon specials’ (mixed breed) and all will grow to be medium to large. There will be an open house at the Tlingit Street shelter from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday so you can have a look at the puppies.
