Wolves add to the Yukon's wonderment
Ed. note: this is a letter to Premier Dennis Fentie; Environment Minister Jim Kenyon; Kent Jingfors, the territorial director of fish and wildlife; and John Russell, the territorial acting director of conservation officer services. In early January of this year, the territory became an emptier place when a fear-based decision was made and a total of nine wolves (that I know of) were killed needlessly.
