The ANGTS (Alaska Natural Gas Transportation System) engineers suggest it will take one truck for every one length of 52-inch pipe welded together for near 1,500 miles to complete the Alaskan natural gas pipeline to feed the lower 48 states of the U.S.A. with natural gas for the next 25 years.
