PM’s actions were indefensible

After declarations of war in 1914 and 1939, no prime minister has invoked the current Emergencies Act of 1985 or the preceding War Measures Act of 1914 to limit civil liberties and grant police far-over-reaching powers beyond their oaths of service to Canadians, save for two.
