Three cheers for Audrey McLaughlin (Star, Aug. 15)!

I'm glad she's speaking out about how upsetting it was for her to see police arresting somebody while the whole scene was filmed for a trashy TV show.

There's so much stinky garbage on TV already that it's shocking to think the RCMP want to contribute to it.

I once saw a "reality” show with border guards. Once was enough!

But after seeing McLaughlin's comments in the Star, I went home and did something I have done before. I put the TV back in the closet.

It's a "repeat offender” in my book, and does more harm than good.
