Letter equalled infomercial

Thankfully, Yukoners are well educated and effective critical thinkers. This helped them see through the infomercial that was published in the form of a letter to the editor in last Friday's Whitehorse Star. The letter referenced a new, nonprescription, fruit product for the treatment of symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The writer was very nice to include a web site and 1-800 number where, no doubt, the product could be purchased. Is it the policy of Whitehorse Star to provide free advertising such as this in the Letters to the Editor section?
