• Should we be scared? Subject: a Conservatives win.
• MP is my choice Unlike Ontario or Quebec or even British Columbia, Yukoners only get one Member of Parliament.
• No wonder system is failing Recently, I have been reading some of the letters to the editor where some people are going to vote for Larry Bagnell simply because he is a nice guy and works hard.
• I can't endorse current MP This election, I will not be supporting Larry Bagnell.
• Many areas are plagued by thieves, drug dealers Ed. note: this is an open letter to Premier Dennis Fentie.
• Martin is precluded from office Today, Canada is in a moral crisis.

• Phil Fontaine's message really horrified me I listened with great interest to the comments that were made by Phil Fontaine of the Assembly of First Nations to the Yukon first nation chiefs at their meeting last week (Star, Jan. 11).
• Only we can make the system change First of all, I would like to express my appreciation and gratitude to Audrey McLaughlin for her scholarly and candid comments in the Jan. 9 Whitehorse Star.
• We must hold MP's feet to the fire Subject: federal coffers overflowing.
• I'm happy the signs are gone In regards to the story in the Jan. 13 Star about the Conservative signs being taken off the electrical poles, I am glad those signs were removed. I feel the election signs are a blight on our landscape. I love looking at the scenery, not the signery.

• Write No' beside each ballot name I received a pamphlet for Pam Boyde's campaign in my mailbox this week.
• Will you help our members? Ed. note: this is a letter to federal election candidates Larry Bagnell, Pam Boyde and Sue Greetham.
• We recognize the North's uniqueness Ed. note: this is a letter to Dennis Fentie, Joe Handley and Paul Okalik, premiers of the Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut respectively.
• We've lowered the moral' bar If there is no outrage, evil will continue 'as long as most people are not aroused to abuses or evil, especially the murdering of unborn children, they will support social legislation.'
• Time for a refreshing change Some people seem to think that it's OK to vote for Larry Bagnell even though he represents a party that is corrupt and arrogant. Some claim that he has done good things.
• We need a respectful regime Subject: Paul Martin does not support individual rights.
• Writer's views myopic and intolerant' Re: 'Memo To CTV: this election is no child's play', comment by Matthew Grant (Jan. 6 edition of the Whitehorse Star).
• Stand up for me and I'll vote for you I have been reading the election letters for days now and I really don't mind the free publicity for the candidates for the parties running.
• Proposed highway could harm our economy As recently reported by many media outlets, the Northwest Territoris has tabled a new proposal for a Mackenzie Valley highway.

• Laws should be offence-based A louder cry, more gun control, and more tax dollars. No one is ignorant of the billions of dollars that have already been spent on gun control that has sent gun control out of control.
• Be sure to vote! The leaders' debate is not a horse race, its 'winner' being the only determinant of how Canadian citizens should vote.
• Our group is proud of our contributions to Canada Re: The facts about the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS).
• Journalist should reconsider Re: commentary 'Maybe he should burn his party membership', by Matthew Grant (Star, Jan. 5).
• Picture our MP in opposition Subject: Larry B. (the Bagman)

• Resource industries are on the upswing In the Friday, Jan. 6 edition of the Yukon News, a grey highlighted panel was included in the letters to the editor page.
• Horrible situation' needs remedy Concern regarding protection for children new act or no act?
• I now concede I was in error Star Choice contacted me to advise that the advertisement in The Brick should have contained the words, 'New Star Choice Customers Only'.
• Give Harper the chance he needs All Canadians work very hard to obtain property.
• Items need cautionary statement We have all seen and heard the warnings at the start of some TV programs advising us of the questionable content we are about to view.

• Where do candidates stand on rights of grandparents? This is an open letter to all Yukon candidates in the Jan. 23 federal election.
• I refuse to endorse your Liberal party, Mr. Bagnell Ed. note: this is an open letter to Yukon MP Larry Bagnell.
• Feature was appreciated I would like to thank the editor for publishing the Yukon Nativity on Dec. 23/05.
• I will vote Conservative I will be voting in this election using a process of elimination.
• Let's keep him there Once again, we find ourselves in the middle of a federal election campaign.
• Why MP works for me I am not prone to writing letters to the editor but I think it is important to the Yukon that, no matter what happens nationally, we return Larry Bagnell to Ottawa.
