  • Some things just never change I recall about 30 years ago, when I was looking for affordable and quality day care, it was very difficult to find! In fact, there were no standards for care, few qualified day care workers, and fewer training opportunities for day care workers.
  • The PM turned his back Not such a warm welcome! (Star, Aug. 17).
  • Goal is laudable, but has problems I have read the snippets about the trial with the dual waste collection system. While I am pleased that the City is being proactive, I have a few questions and concerns.
  • An innocent child has evolved into a monster Whitehorse citizens, I invite you to listen. Perhaps you are flipping through these pages, unwinding from a long week and my words have captured your attention.
  • Corners require common sense I travel through the Second and Fourth Avenues intersection every day on my way to work. So far, I have not been at the intersection at the time of an accident.

  • I need my machine returned! To the persons who stole my four-wheeler ATV from my yard in the early hours of Friday morning: Thanks a lot, guys!
  • It's absolute nonsense to bring in the CMHC Just when you think it can't get any worse, we now have the mortgage-lending institution, the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corp. (CMHC), coming to Whitehorse to tell us how to develop our land (Star, Aug. 11).
