  • The Quest's barbarity must be stopped It has been very gratifying to see the increased awareness among the dog mushing community (including some Yukon Quest mushers) and Yukon media about some of the issues surrounding this year's Yukon Quest International Sled Dog Race.

  • I pray I never get my hands on him Regarding the dog pictures and stories featured on the front page of the Star last Thursday, and in Friday's edition.
  • Musher didn't deserve this fate I think it's disgraceful what you did to J.T. Hessert (Star, Feb. 15). He exemplified the original spirit and philosophy of the Yukon Quest.
