- 'Evil' gun owners won't turn them in I served in the Canadian Forces for a decade as a Regular Force Infantry soldier. I am now disabled, resulting from injuries received while serving.

- Did Mother Nature create dogs to be abused? Although the Yukon is no longer my home, I think of it every day, sometimes most of the day, and I have continued to keep up with the goings on from afar. Sigh...

- Judge not that ye be judged Last Monday, a letter to the editor from a local animal activist was published with regards to a person having a wolf skull placed in his mailbox.
- Please see the light! Sounds like Jim Lawrence (Star letters, Jan. 21) is the one who "seems to have fallen into the trap" - the trap of the fur industry's advertising propaganda.
- What is it with you - laziness or arrogance? It happens every winter: all around the Whitehorse area, neighbourhood volunteers clear and brush ski trails in the autumn, pack them with the first snows and set ski tracks.
