  • Where is all the political backlash? It came as an alarming surprise to us the silence around the elimination of the television programming of Northern Native Broadcasting Yukon (Star, May 7).
  • Blame poor eating, not fluoride's absence In a recent article on the fluoride issue, I was interviewed opposing fluoridation of our water supply.
  • Animals will still be exploited The Animal Protection Act's proposed amendments show promise, but it is clear that animals will continue to be exploited in the Yukon in spite of renewed legislation.
  • Another smog-and-asphalt nightmare? In spite of considerable public objection to the city's plan to develop the woods behind Takhini Elementary School, city council voted unanimously to accept the Takhini North design concept.
