- Save trails from staking! Much land within the city has been staked by mining companies, including large parts of the lands designated as a recreation area in the city's Official Community Plan where the ski club has its extensive trail system.

Turbines' efficiency blows away fossil fuels This is a letter to Murray Martin about his Whitehorse Star's Aug. 26 Voice of the Outdoors column titled: "I ask you: is windmill turbine energy really that green?”
- Here is how we'd strengthen child care We'd like to thank Ms. Chani Fleshman (Star letters, Sept. 23) for the opportunity to communicate our plan to fill the gaps in early learning and child care.
