CRITICAL OF LIBERALS’ STANCE – Senator Dan Lang continues to rattle the Liberals’ cage for the party’s stance on the long-gun registry. Lang and his Conservative Party cohorts want to see it abolished, while Michael Ignatieff and the Liberals favour a series of compromises to the regulations surrounding the registry (top). CONSERVATIVES GATHER – Cariboo-Prince George MP Dick Harris, chair of the Conservatives’ B.C./Yukon caucus, is one of 18 Conservative MPs and senators in the territory this week on business. Last night at the old Fire Hall, Harris joined his colleagues and supporters for a Whitehorse Food bank fund-raiser.
