Logan Roots finishes with top five-km running time

Logan Roots was the only runner to break the 19-minute mark in this week's Intersport Five-km Fun Run/Walk.

Logan Roots was the only runner to break the 19-minute mark in this week’s Intersport Five-km Fun Run/Walk.

Roots finished with a time of 18:50, more than one-minute faster than Doug Mayr.

Janet Clarke broke the top three best times and was the fastest female runner, coming in at 24:06.

A cluster of runners, with times in the mid-20s followed Clarke.

It started with Brian Mottus, who finished at 25:18, beating out Dave Kalles by one second.
