Sniper Adam Green scored three times, and Mike Muller added a pair as EDI skated past the Firth Rangers 7-1 in oldtimer hockey action last night at Takhini Arena.

Second-ranked EDI also got goals from Matt Willes and Les Luciuk in the win.

Guy Gorrell had the lone marker for the Rangers in the loss.

The first-place AON Flames kept pace with EDI with a win of their own, 7-4 over last-place Air North. EDI remains four points back of AON for top spot in the oldtimer standings.

Tony Parks and Mike Rispin each nabbed a pair of goals to lead the Flames offence. Parks also picked up two assists.

Tom Guy and Ken Vickerman added singles, while Stu Mackay also had a good night with a goal and two assists.

Mike Jim scored twice for Air North alongside one assist, while Marty O’Hagen and Greg Charlie rounded out the scoring.

Action will continue tonight with Kilrich facing Medicine Chest, and the Klondyke Dental Molars squaring off with Tim Hortons.

NOTES: Medicine Chest forward Blaine Monahan leads the league in scoring with 47 points (29 G, 18 A). Four players are tied with 45. Yukon Inn’s Matt King leads all goalies with a 2.60 GAA.
