Firth Rangers shutout Medicine Chest in Oldtimers Hockey League; team wins 1-0

Grant Lowey broke the goose egg for Firth, scoring the squad’s lone goal with just 2:23 remaining on the clock.

Ed van Randen and Carl Burgess both assisted in the goal.

AON Flames 4, Kilrich 2

Jeff Jensen and Blaine Demchuk led the offensive charge for the Flames, each scoring one goal and adding one assist.

Other goal scorers on the team included Al Koehl and Charles Broadhagen, while Barry Mole, Wade Harrison and Scott Lowery each contributed two assists in the victory.

Rob Thompson and John Pereira netted Kilrich’s two goals, while Mike Hawkins, Mike Blower, Rick Moses and Aubyn Coad each added one assist.

Yukon Inn 6, Klondyke Dental Molars 1

Daryn Leas contributed of Yukon Inn’s goal total during Wednesday’s game against the Klondike Dental Molars.

Leas’ impressive performance saw him finish the game with a hat trick, while Rick Blaker also had a multi-point game for the team, scoring once and adding one assist.

Other goal scorers on the team included Mike Burnett and Sean McAskie.

Glenn Mills also had an amazing game for Yukon Inn, contributing four assists in the team’s win. 

Lance Bevilacqua scored the Dental Molars only goal with Laurie Malo getting an assist on the play.

Performance Centre Turbos 6, Edgewater Hotel 2

Ernie Jamieson had an amazing four point performance for the Turbos Wednesday against Edgewater Hotel.

Jamieson finished with three goals and one assist, while Jim Giczi and Dennis Zimmerman also made significant contributions, each scoring one goal and adding an assist.

Wayne Vallevand and Gord Peterson each scored once for Edgewater Hotel, while Gary Vantell and Shelby Workman added one assist.
