Adams scores nine, leads Sportslife to consecutive victories

Sawyer Adams scored nine goals to lead his club to back-to-back victories in Under-9 Whitehorse Minor Soccer action last week.

Sawyer Adams scored nine goals to lead his club to back-to-back victories in Under-9 Whitehorse Minor Soccer action last week.

The youngster scored six goals in a 12-2 win for Sportslife over Eagle Construction last Monday, then scored three more Wednesday to lead his club to a 5-4 win over Epic Pizza.

Seamus O’Brien, Chayce Tuton, Kayne Morgan, Lance Walsh and Trisha Gayangos (2) also scored in the 12-2 blowout, with Morgan earning player of the game honours.

Trinity Asp and Jonny Timmons responded for Eagle Construction, while Matthew Gallant was named player of the game.

Tuton and Walsh also dented the mesh in Sportslife’s second win. Tuton earned player of the game.

Bryn Studny Amos and player of the game Zach Saplywy each scored a pair for Epic Pizza in the loss.


Under-7


Kaden Gregory potted a hat trick, and R-Jay Williams and Clovis St. Laurent had singles as Klondike Business Solutions beat Kilrich Industries 5-1 last Monday. Carter France was player of the game.

Rue Charchun had the lone goal for Kilrich, while Ella Bradford was player of the game.

In other action Monday, Guillermo Benjamin Bonilla struck four times, and Hudson Sias scored three as Builders Supplyland routed Dermal Skin and Laser 7-0.

Eli Marsh and Jordan Minifie were players of the game.

On Tuesday, Builders Supplyland won their second straight, 4-2 over Locksmith Services.

Sias had another hat trick in the win,  while Pier Emmanuel De Leon added a single and Mackenzie Waldner was player of the game.

Alex Wilson and Yakov Zurachenko scored for Locksmith Services in the loss, while Felix Masson was player of the game.

The Electrical Shop also picked up two wins last week, with strikers Lucas Scully (three goals) and Flynn Young (2) leading the way.


Under-13


Abed Rajab scored five times, and his teammates Ben Shier and Cole Wilkie-Hobus each sniped a pair to lead the Eagles to a 9-8 win over Boston Pizza last Monday.

Kitana Sterriah was named player of the game. Boston Pizza stats were not provided.

In other games last week, Gary Schultze had a hat trick to lead All Terrane Mineral Exploration to a 10-3 win over Coates Services.

Matthias Hoenische scored for Coates Services in the loss, while Tara Mag was named player of the game.

Brendan Atkin and Ethen Steele led Woodhouse Business Consulting to a victory over the Eagles Tuesday.

Wilkie-Hobus and Emily Muir starred for the Eagles in the loss.

All games were played at the Canada Games Centre.
