Unbeaten Yukon Brewing completed a comprehensive win over Pepsi 7-3 in over 35’s soccer action this weekend.

The Brew put together a true team performance with all the team contributing towards the win. David Rayo, Guiliano Rayo, Pat Shaw, Mark O’Brien, Liz Bradley and skipper Jim Connell were the scorers.

Pepsi were helped by some calamitous goal-keeping from George Maratos in the Brewing net but couldn’t find their rhythm, their scorers were JP Ladroue (2), and Danny Macdonald.

Tony Pizza tops KBBS

Gord Barker has put his dazzling form down to an old Nova Scotian pre-match routine, which helped Tony’s Pizza put aside Klondike Business Solutions 6-3.

Barker, looking sharp, scored a goal and assisted on others as the Brew put on a master class of possession soccer, never letting KBS into the game.

Jan Aalt van den Hoorn scored a beauty early on and was joined on the score sheet by Mamadou Togola, Ben Mercier, Adil Khalik, and even Eric Murphy scored.

KBS kept the score down with some terrific defending by Gareth Howells but his effort was ultimately in vain.

Travis Schommer, Andy Todd, Larry White got the goals for KBS.
