Due to unfortunate circumstances, Medicine Chest was forced to default this game.
Thurs, Apr. 14
Air North 8, EDI 2
Rick Gingell, Pete Mostyn and Dustin Heffner each scored twice to pilot Air North to the win, and send EDI to polishing their golf clubs. Kerry Pettitt and Ty Heffner each added one in the win. Team owner Pat Tobler collected both for EDI.
Wed, Apr. 13
Yukon Inn 3, Firth 0
Jim Antonissen was stellar in net for the Inn, as he blanked the high flying Rangers. Kevin put the Topping on the winners' scoring with two markers, and Walt Liley sifted in the other.
Kilrich 4, Tim Hortons 3 (OT)
Greg Charlie banged home a rebound on the powerplay early in overtime to lift Kilrich to the exciting victory. Danny Johnson scored two for the carpenter crew and Carl Cibart got the other. Timbits' tallies came from Willy McKenna, Ryan Martin and Lorne Burnett.
The next three games of the double knockout are now set with Firth playing Air North and Tim Hortons playing Capri on Saturday; and Kilrich squaring off against Yukon Inn on Sunday. The winner of Firth-Air North plays the winner of Tims-Capri also on Sunday night.
