Steve Fecteau and Laurie Malo were dynamic for EDI as they led their team to a 10-1 win over Firth in Whitehorse Oldtimers hockey action Sunday at Takhini Arena. Fecteau and Malo each potted three goals, Jeff Jensen added two goals and four helpers, and Gary McKellar and Peter Kirby scored single markers in the win. Gord Campbell replied for Firth.

Kilrich 6, Air North 4

Colin Nash drilled home two for Kilrich, who moved into a tie with Air North for first place in the standings. Elgin Schwantz, Dave White, Chris Nash and Tim van Hinte also tallied for the men in yellow. Air North got two goals from Dave Wipf, and one each from Wynn Griffith and Mike Blower.

AON 7, Medicine Chest 4

D-man Scott Palfreyman led the surging AON offence with three goals, and one apiece came from Mervyn Jacobsen, Lance Bevilacqua, Gary Vantell and Blayne Monahan (on the powerplay). Myles Dolphin led the Chest charge with three goals, and Derek Bilodeau netted the other.

Tim Hortons 5, Yukon Inn 4

Pete Mostyn’s second goal of the game with less than four minutes remaining proved to be the winner for Tims. Geordan Clark returned from a conditioning stint in Mexico to score twice as well, and Mike Gau added a solo effort. Four different skaters dented the twine for Yukon Inn – Kerry Pettitt, Ben Kielb, Shawn Kinsella and Darnell Kiriak
