If you are the parent or caregiver for a child aged six to 12 who’s got a bike, Cycling Association of Yukon’s HopOn program will be of interest.

HopOn is a games-based cycling program, run in partnership with Cycling Canada, that teaches school-aged kids the joys of cycling safely.

HopOn instructors will teach kids beginner, intermediate or advanced cycling skills to build confidence and safety awareness. Instructors have undergone extensive training to deliver the program in Yukon.

Sessions are between 1 and 1.5 hours each. Intermediate and advanced riders go from August 24 to 28 and beginners from September 12 to 28.

Sessions are at the Porter Creek Secondary School baseball field. Cost is $60.
