Yukon Energy Champs – race #1, the 5.75-km hill climb took place June 10 and best part?

Everybody who did it last year – and this broke their record from last year! Incredible, and the most gratifying part of any race! It’s a hard uphill time trial.

Thanks to our sponsor, Yukon Energy, and Andrew Hall, for sponsoring our stage race.

There were five races over four days. Results: Adam Tetzlaff 11.16 (new course record) David Jackson 11.33 (1 min, 2 sec faster than last year!) Shea Hoffman 11.59 James McCann 11.58 Ava Irving-Staley 11.58 (almost two minutes faster than last year) Trena Irving 14.30 (38 sec faster than last year) Alex Lebarge 13.02 (two min faster than last year!) Mack Jenner 12.44 (min and a half faster than 2020) Tori Vollmer 13.51 (almost two min. faster than last year!) Doon McDowell 12.53 Johna Irving-Staley 13.50 (three min. faster than last year!) A big thank you from the Yukon Energy Championships GC winners, road race winners, and everybody who participated!

In a stage race, you have to participate in all stages to get an overall win – bravo to all of the athletes for pushing it, going strong and working with teammates in the race. Overall results from the other races were unavailable.
