The Whitehorse Oldtimer’s Hockey League is currently in hiatus due to the recent COVID-19 restrictions imposed by the Yukon Government and the acting chief medical officer of health. Here are the pre-Christmas results:

Way back on Dec 22 and 23, Mike Gau poured in three to lead Tim Hortons to a 6-3 win over EDI; Nate Clark scored all four of his team’s goals as Firth edged Medicine Chest 4-3; Jeff Jensen and Rob Green each netted a pair as Yukon Inn grounded Air North 9-1; and Wade Harrison pounded home four goals to pace Kilrich to a 6-2 win over CapriCMW.

Yukon Inn continues to hold down top spot in the standings with 32 points. TA Firth is a close second, trailing by only two points. Tim Hortons is in the hunt in third with 28 points.

Firth’s Nate Clark has padded his lead atop the scoring race with 22 goals and 21 assists for 43 points in only 14 games after his four-goal outburst against Medicine Chest. Kilrich’s Scott Palfreyman (26 goals, nine assists) is tied with Tim Hortons Chris Nash (18 goals, 17 assists) in second with 35 points each. Air North’s Dustin Heffner and CapriCMW’s Greg Lane round out the top five with 34 points each (16 goals, 18 assists each).

Top goalie by Goals Against Average is Darryl Cann of Kilrich with a 1.50 GAA in only two games. Tim Hortons Glen Traverse sits in second with a 2.58 GAA in 19 games, followed by Yukon Inn’s Jim Antonissen with a 2.70 GAA in 20 games.
