Following a break in their schedule due to new COVID-19 restrictions, the Whitehorse Oldtimer’s Hockey League resumed play Sunday. Here are the results.

CapriCMW 4, Tim Horton’s 3

Arlo O’Riordan roared for CapriCMW as he banged in the game winner with only 2:23 on the clock in his team’s win over Tim Hortons in Whitehorse Oldtimers hockey action Sunday at Takhini Arena. Travor Willier added two for Capri, and Dave Wipf potted one.

Willy McKenna, with two, and Chris Nash tickled the twine for Tim’s.

Kilrich 8, EDI 1

Greg Charlie, Anthony Grottoli and defenceman (!) Mike Sage nailed two each in victory, and Scott Palfreyman (with a rare assist) and Darryl Cann netted one apiece. EDI’s Peter Johnston spoiled the shutout.

Firth 6, Air North 5

Firth built up a 4-0 lead and then fought off a furious air attack to hang on. Marcel Barrault and Ben Kielb each scored two for Firth, and Chris Carli and Mark Bowen did the rest of the damage.

Dustin Heffner was flying for the Jets, as he scored four times, and Derek Bilodeau added the other.

Yukon Inn 5, Medicine Chest 3

Laurie Malo served up two goals for the Inn gang, and Blaine Demchuk, Gary McKellar and Steve Arrell also scored. Geordan Clark prescribed all three goals for Medicine Chest.
