On Wednesday, U Kon Echelon held its first criterium at Titanium Way. There were 10 riders competing and for half of them, it was their first criterium.

Mara Roldan was the first female across the line, followed by Ava Irving-Staley and Aisha Roldan. The three rode with Marc Lapointe and Denny Bohmer (both Expert Men) and were mentored in how to go fast and hard in a fast criterium. Their race was around an hour.

In the younger division, Tori Vollmer did a fast race and came first in the youth. She rode with the older group and stayed with them the whole race. Her race was around half an hour.

Johna Irving-Staley, Thomas Vollmer and Alex Laberge rode in U 13, U11 and novice categories, each taking first place.

Dawn Lammer rode in Sport women and took first place, riding the entire course solo, with strong efforts in big headwinds.

Trena Irving was riding the course to help coach but not racing as a participant.
