The sports look-back continues into November

Hello Yukon sport fans,

Hello Yukon sport fans,

Here is another batch of photos that did not make it into the paper –this time we are looking back at November 2019.

COVID-19 may have sports on hold, but what I continue to realize as I go through these pictures is how vibrant the sports community is here in the territory. Despite the times it is important to celebrate that.

I truly believe sports are a powerful thing and when this is over, sports will be one of the unifiers that brings us back together.

Until then, I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy and still managing to find some time to get active.

On Monday, I said I’ve been re-watching old basketball highlights on YouTube to get my sport fix. The past few days though I’ve found great joy in watching table tennis highlight packs –they are insane, highly recommended.
