Rodriguez breathes life into
Yukon Info

Oscar Rodriguez was acquired in the late season draft, and he might be the missing piece of the jigsaw that will take Yukon Info.com to glory, and if early indications are correct, it could be a golden time for the Orangemen.

Rodriguez seemed to be part of every scoring opportunity, as he grabbed two goals for himself and set up many more as Yukon Info demolished Driving Force 10-2 in over 35’s soccer action Saturday at the CGC

Yukon Info almost scored with every shot and overran Driving Force in all areas of the pitch. Wafer thin Jim Brown continued his hot streak with two more goals, while Mark Sebek (2), JP Ladroue (2), skipper George Maratos and Russell McDiarmid all joined the scoresheet. Driving Force will have to find some answers quickly before their season descends into chaos, they do have Myles Dolphin and Phil Jackson whom both scored on Saturday to lead them forward but need others to step up.

Yukon Brewing look unbeatable

Yukon Brewing has put together a fantastic run of form that all members of the squad can be proud of, they fight for each other, never give up and have a great team spirit. Stephen Doyle in the Brew Net is putting in an all-star season, and with Keith Maguire, Leonard Linklater and Chris Stacey closing the steel door on any opposition attack the opportunities to score on them are limited. Mark O’Brien, Guliano Rayo, and Shawn Fearon are bossing the midfield and this weekend saw them to a 4-2 win over Pepsi at the Canada Games Centre.

Pepsi actually took the lead, but at the pressure mounted from the Brew, gaps opened up in the Pepsi defence and were mercilessly exploited, as O’Brien, Rayo, Maguire and an own goal bagged a goal each. Danny Macdonald the Pepsi skipper tried to inject some life into his team with two goals, but his side was running on empty as the game finished and will now be looking over their shoulder as the teams below them in league mount their challenge.

Nile, you're such a drag. Don't take life so seriously.

Isn't over 35 the old timers league? These players are in denial.
